    Supported Living QIDP

    TradeWinds Services, Inc. located in Merrillville, IN has a full-time position for a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional in our Supported Living Residential program. 

    Description of Position: The QIDP is responsible for the monitoring, integration, implementation, and coordination of services consisting of a comprehensive functional assessment of the program services. Ultimately, the QIDP is responsible for ensuring the provisions of a consistent and aggressive active treatment program for the participants. The QIDP also supervises the Direct Support Professionals and works cooperatively with the residential center nurse.

    Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human services or related academic disciplines (e.g., psychology, sociology, education, and human development).

    Experience Required: Prior experience in developing and implementing individual programs, program evaluations, and working in a team environment. Must have good decision-making and time management skills and be responsible, mature, and flexible.

    Additional RequirementsMust have a valid driver’s license with no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a responsible, reliable person who is able to work independently. Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background checks.
