MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
MAINTENANCE ASSISTANTTradeWinds Services, Inc, located in Merrillville, has a full-time Maintenance Assistant position in the Building & Grounds Department, Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Responsible for the appearance, safety, and maintenance of the main center and residential sites owned by TradeWinds. Plan & perform maintenance for all sites owned/operated by TradeWinds Services Inc.Education Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of building trades, must have a valid driver’s license.
Experience Required: Experience in industrial and institutional maintenance repairs, experience with building trades, and ability to use power tools/maintenance equipment.
Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age and have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license with no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years. Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background checks.
