    Job Description
    TradeWinds Services, Inc. is a non-profit agency that has been providing support and care to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities in Northwest Indiana for over 50 years. We have a full-time position available in our Residential Group Homes. This position requires someone who can work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
     
    Description of Position:  Responsible to work cooperatively with the House Manager, QIDP, Coordinator & other staff in developing, implementing and evaluating programming, training, recreation, and therapeutic activities for the consumers of TradeWinds.  The Lead DSP is responsible to assist the House Manager in maintaining consistency in programming, participant care and communications with staff. The person in this position has the responsibility to take over responsibilities when the House Manager is not available (vacation, sick, etc.) and to assist the House Manager in training, follow-up and coaching the Direct Support Professionals.  This position is expected to maintain DSP responsibilities as well.
    Education Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
    Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license with no suspensions for traffic infractions during the past three years. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be a responsible, reliable person who is able to work 
    independently.
    Postition Reports to: House Manager, QIDP, & Residential Coordinator
