    Job Summary: The Consumer Card and Loan Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring the competitiveness and awareness of Centier’s consumer loan products with particular emphasis on credit card products.  Responsibilities include the management of assigned product(s); market research; financial analysis; product planning and coordination of sales and marketing strategies. Responsibility for the growth of the credit card portfolios, which includes management of existing products and new product development, working closely with internal teams and external vendors. The Consumer Card and Loan Product Manager is expected to have a thorough understanding of the credit card industry, as well as consumer loans in general, understanding the competitive landscape related to pricing, functionality and the competitive advantages of products managed.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate promotional, marketing, and communication programs for consumer loan products and services.
    • Research and compile business and industry competitive data to analyze and develop tactics to achieve strategic goals.
    • Analyze sales information, projections and other meaningful data and present findings to business unit management.
    • Research and recommend strategies on assigned products including packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development.
    • Prepare and/or provide input in the preparation and delivery of training & sales tools.
    • Act as a subject matter expert, point of contact and lead of special projects pertaining to consumer loan products and services.
    • Proficient in industry research around customer behaviors, new product offerings, new providers and regulatory impacts; keeping business partners updated and informed.
    • Manage credit card vendor service relationship; responding and sending requests, managing risks, and ensuring compliance adherence.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and implement sales tactics as well as partner with cross-functional teams to execute strategies.
    • Make recommendations in the development of marketing and advertising programs for the assigned products.
    • Develop new ideas and initiatives that improve the overall consumer loan portfolio performance of the organization.

      Credit Card Product Management:

    • Develop strategies to increase penetration, activation, revenue, and utilization of credit card services.
    • Develop and recommend marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts.
    • Report key performance metrics to Senior Management and other stakeholders.
    • Analyze Rewards program trends; recommend opportunities to improve appeal, utilization, and profitability.
    • Propose testing strategies to maximize financial return on card marketing campaigns.
    • Recommend new features and product enhancements.
    • Work closely with SVP, Retail Sales to analyze marketplace trends, build partnerships with industry experts and create excitement for the Centier credit card brand.
    • Partner with internal business units to foster ongoing support of cards. Review existing procedures, processes, and problems and recommend where automation or process improvement can be implemented.
    • Review complaints and suggestions relative to assigned product(s). Recommend develop a plan for resolution.
    • Ensure all new and existing products and communication related to credit card products are in compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop pricing strategies that will result in meeting product objectives.
    • Evaluate current economic conditions and advise Management of possible impact on assigned product.
    • Gather market intelligence in order to capitalize on market opportunities as they occur, while minimizing and anticipating the effects of competitive activity.

    • Demonstrated superior oral, written and presentation communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates, including Senior Management.
    • Work successfully in a deadline driven environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential data and ensure integrity of data.

      Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or equivalent preferred.
    • 6+ years of consumer loan product experience within the Credit Card industry or a banking institution.
    • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing a credit card program from inception to launch, including experience building business plans and ROI models. 
    • Strong track record of setting and achieving goals of increasing complexity.
