• Secondary Market Loan Shipper



    Verification of all loan documents required for servicing the loan file and preparation of the transfers documents, at the direction of VP, Loan Operations. Serve in a back-up capacity to Secondary Market Support.


    1. Verify that all required loan documents are accurate and then imaged into the LOS system.
    2. Complete Note endorsement and possible MERS registration.
    3. Activate Mortgage Insurance and send transfer information to MI Company.
    4. Prepare all transfer letters required for the loan file and image into the LOS.
    5. Complete CIP verification and ticklers for follow-up documents.
    6. Complete the stacking order for shipment to new Servicer.
    7. Complete any follow-up with new Servicer.
    8. Provide Back-up for the secondary market processor.
    9. Assist in daily operations of departments with tasks as designated
    10. Keep current with Bank policies and procedures.
    11. Provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers.
    12. Attend and participate in meetings, seminars and training as required.
    13. Other responsibilities that may be assigned.


    1. Reports to VP, Loan Operations for fulfillment of job responsibilities and related functions.
    2. Interacts with SVP, Retail Lending, Loan Operations Support and Loan Originators on loan related issues to insure operational efficiencies.


    1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
    2. Two years of banking experience, preferably in lending.
    3. Strong PC skills and ability to use all related business equipment.
    4. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
    5. Self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
    6. An independent action taker with an ability to work as a team member in a fast paced environment demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
    7. Ability to follow established processes and procedures to maintain effective controls.
    8. Proactive and innovative in process evaluation and improvements.
